You  all know I'm all over the internet and  I  don't just make  people  join my  sites. I join sites and I'm interactive as much as  possible. If the  admin of a site asks anything of Me  I make Myself  available and I cross promote any site that  I  spend a lot of  time  on. I am all about independant artists, labels, bloggers and  everyone else doing their  thing bc  dammit Ima  hustler Myself.

So  I've  been a member of a particular  NING  networking  site, http://hiphopnews24-7.ning.com/ for a  while. I try  to  check in  reguraly but  noticed  that the site is kinda  slow. You know the  forum is  kinda  humdrum, not many people  interacting, there's 11 groups  and the  biggest group is 44 members. Now that may sound like a lot EXCEPT the  site has 43,205 members who arent doing  didly squat  on the site.

I  felt bad  after  going through the site and felt a little bad  about how  with so many members we  weren't more interactive. I  can not  judge anyone else If  I  don't judge Myself  first  SO I  posted mroe pics  updated my profile pic  and posted a few  vids from my ning to this ning. It  siad that videos  must be approved  by the site owner, cool...again, no problem.  A person has the  RIGHT  to decide what  goes on their site or not. I  will say that  the site at the time had 363 videos, ALL pulled from  youtube or a similar site. I  wondered  why with  over 43,000 members  NOT ONE person had  filmed or posted a video of their own.

NEVER  did I  imagine  what the real  situation  was and at  first I took it as a joke. I think it's all  good  to run your site the way  you see fit. BUT  I  feel that when  you become a webmaster it is your  job to protect the INTEGRITY  of your  site too.  That's like  I wouldn't  blatantly post something that  I knew  was  untrue or even speak  bad  about  a person  by name  unless I  had some kind of paperwork in my hand  to prove it. So  being a webmaster  I take the integrity of My site  seriously......maybe its just Me

SO anyway  I hope you all find the following as  hilarious as I did.... This is ACTUAL email  communication  with  the owner of the site. who has since decided  to  go to MY ning  and  feature one of  MY  videos on the front page of his site. I have thanked him for the attention, however  it  doesn't appease Me. Sapphire is  Model/Porn Star  2nd  Writer/Journalist  first  and hmmm this  story is too fuuny  not to share.

So  AFTER  posting  my   videos  to the ning and  waiting  for approval or not this is what I received.....

NAH, IM GOING TO POST IT MONDAY MORNING WHEN EVERYBODY GET BACK ON THE INTERNET. I'M GOING TO HAVE A CONTEST FOR THE BEST DANCING VIDEO. (ok now  I  got  annoyed  here BUT  I said I would hold off til Monday  to see how it played out. 1. since when  do people  take teh weekend off  from the internet? 2. I didn't  do a  video promoting your site SO you  gonna figure a way to promote YOUR site with My  video anyway....hmmmmm.)

So it's Monday Tada  I  go back to the site to see if  My  videos  have been approved  yet. I see that only  one of the 3  I uploaded was in My  video  section and when I  clicked it  It still said awaiting approval.  So I posted a blog  to My page on the site and GUESS WHAT, the admin has to approve  your  blogs too. Wait a minute So the  admin  feels the need  to    censor and   monitor  what people say  and think hmmmm.

"I'm not the type  to  put anyone on blast but I wanted to  see how this would play out. I am  going to be blogging about my "interaction" on this particular site this weekend. See its cute that My ONE video was posted, BUT  I added more than one  video and the reason WHY  my vids aren't in the video  section  needs  to be broadcasted.

See I'm an active member in over 30 nings and  numerous networking sites and NEVER have I   had the owner contact Me and  feed Me  the bullshit that was  fed to Me from this site.

Therefore I am removing My ONE vid that was approved - IF ALL MY  VIDS ARENT GOOD ENOUGH TO  POST  WHO SAYS I AM TO AN EXAMPLE FOR THESE OTHER TRICKS -

How much free  time on his hand MUST  dude  have  to personally   pay attention to 43,000+  members updates. So I  posted My  blog  to  my  comment section on my page and received an  email from the  admin  shortly after.

DO I OWE YOU SOMETHING?, I PAY FOR THIS SITE AND WORK HARD ON IT EVERYDAY.  I DONT OWE YOU ANYTHING, I DONT HAVE TO POST YOUR VIDEOS IF I DONT WANT TO. YOU AT LIKE I OWE YOU SOMETHING. I DONT EVEN KNOW YOU. NOW PUT THAT ON BLAST.......

See  you could have  said  NO  and left it at that.  You went into excuses AND THEN   decided you would  use my  vid to promote your site and  contest  anyway  since  I DID NOT PROMOTE YOUR  SITE.
